Press Play 03:50
Verse: I look ahead into the days and see my life coming through. A different home a different place, a life that I never knew was possible or was I just falling asleep in the back of the class room. I hit my head, I must have fell and lost all sense of cause. I shouldn't think the way I do, I think I might upset you. You told me what I should be, but that's not what I'm gonna do. I ride around in my little car, I never go very far. I'm always tempted to go on and ride this journey along to where I belong, to where I can't be wrong. Chorus: I'm taking a stand today, I will not conform again. No I'm not giving in an inch. Well life's just a game they say. Celebrate it like a holiday, like a song beating in your heart, that won't go away, now press play. Verse 2: I put it on, my plainest shirt so I can blend with the jerks, and I always do the best I can to not start acting absurd. 'Cause when I come home from work it kills me that I have to get back up in the morning. We all need a little greed, we have to be so funny. A man can be only as big as how he stacks his money, it rules all of us fools, when did this become so cool? Chorus: I'm taking a stand today, I will not conform again. No I'm not giving in an inch. Well life's just a game they say. Celebrate it like a holiday, like a song beating in your heart, that won't go away, now press play. Verse: I hit my head, I must have fell and lost all sense of cause. I shouldn't think the way I do, I think I might upset you. You told me what I should be, but that's not what I'm gonna do. Chorus: I'm taking a stand today, I will not conform again. No I'm not giving in an inch. Well life's just a game they say. *Celebrate it with a birthday cake, like a song beating in your heart, that won't go away, now press play.

Summer Girl 03:19
Verse: I wonder what its like if it were summer all the time, would we be happy just to live in shine? And if we'd given peace a chance, maybe we'd all just sing and dance and never have to work to make things right. Pre-Chorus: We cannot take these days for granted, she's giving love and you know she meant it. Chorus: We are innocent, young, wild, and free and I wanna be. I wanna be with my summer girl. Don't let those rain clouds pour on me and cover what I want to see, the sun is always out when you're with me, it's summer girl. Verse: Hey I see you there, I'm trying hard not to stare at the glaring sun that's beating down on your poor heart. I think that I would like to soak you up, so full of love and I just can't get enough to fill me up. Bridge: We cannot take these days for granted, she's giving love and you know she meant it. And when the seasons change, will you remain the same for me.

1st Verse: When the summer has ended we’ll be leaving our house, With the swift move of autumn will be pushing us out, To the lives where the people and their faces don’t count, ‘cause I don’t see you here. You know the days and the months keep turning me round, Make me dizzy and I’m busy falling down on the ground, And all leaves have already changed their color by now, But I don’t see you here, I don’t see you anywhere Chorus: Where have you gone? I’m without you here Did you want me to wait you were unclear, Time is moving on, I don’t want to fear, That we left this all unclear. 2nd Verse: The air is getting colder and the ground is all wet, my reflections making faces with the shapes of my head, change my mind if my mind wasn’t already set, on you being here. I remember when the sun wasn’t so fast to set, You and me picking flowers of the prettiest red, waking up in the morning sharing the same bed, yeah you were right here, oh but now you’ve disappeared. Chorus: Ending Chorus: Where have you gone? I’m without you here, Did you want me to wait you were unclear, Time is moving on, I don’t want to fear, That we left this all unclear (X2) I’ve waited for too long, To be without you here, ‘Cause you’re the one that left, that’s clear.

Verse1: She said she's better off without me, rather be with mr. nobody, and I can't blame her for her own needs, she turned me into mr. lonely. Well I just want her to be happy, with whoever she decides to be, cuz she knows I'll miss her only, if she's the one that's missing me. Pre-Chorus: All I need, is a little bit of honesty. Chorus: This is not even a love song, the feeling of the love is gone, this is not even a love song, and I'll be better when I'm on my own. Verse 2: You know I wish I had two hands, to help me rise over this broken land and take me up into the atmosphere, to repair what is wrong up there. Cuz when the winds come I will worry, you'll be forced to go so far away, just wish you'd choose to stay close to me, and call my name if you make a mistake. Pre-Chorus: All I need, is a little bit of sympathy. Chorus: Last verse: So take me back to the last time, the moment right before we said goodbye and I will stare into your eyes, to let you know everything is alright. Well maybe we will try another time, but if we don't we'll be just fine, cuz I've got better things to do tonight, then call you up and try to make things right. Pre-Chorus: All I need, is a little bit, a taste of free. Chorus: I'll be better when I'm feeling stoned, I'll be better when I'm on my own.
5.
Verse1: I remember all the moments of us, the good and bad photography. Hanging on the wall collecting the dust, that symbolizes you and me. I can’t believe that all of this is the past, And in future times we are apart. Its like what they say if you don’t build it won’t last, Starts with the structure of our hearts. Chorus: I say woah, that’s the way, that's the way, that's the way that it goes, you give love and then you go. Verse2: I never thought that I was ever to blame, but you made me feel like I was wrong. We pick and choose and change our mind in this game and I know that it won't take long. 'Cause it makes me sick to think of you with another, Man you’ve got some kinda nerve, And here we stand opposite of each other, do what we can to make it hurt. Chorus: I say woah, that’s the way, that's the way, that's the way that it goes, you give love and then you go.
6.
Verse: I want to take you on a picnic, just like we did when we were kids. Easy just living in the moment, ya life was so simple back then. And then we'd run and play hide and seek, and you try and try but you can't find me. Lay back and land in a pile of leaves, and laugh at the clouds as we stare through the trees. Chorus: Oh do you remember, it being better, when we were kids. Oh 'cause it didn't matter, how different we were, we were cool with it. So if I had one wish, I wish I was a kid. Verse2: We'd flow with the breezes on the swings, and no one was afraid to sing. Lick lollipops in shape of rings, trying hard to sit still but we're laughing. Why did we have to all grow out of our shoes that tied in velcro? I sure hope kids never have to know the world as I see it, 'cause its so trouble. Chorus: Oh do you remember, it being better, when we were kids. Oh 'cause it didn't matter, how different we were, we were cool with it. So if I had one wish, I wish I was a kid. Bridge: Not a man, trying for things that I can't have. If I could just get it all back, life was so sweet before there was math class. Chorus: Oh do you remember, it being better, when we were kids. Oh 'cause it didn't matter, how different we were, we were cool with it. So if I had one wish, I wish I was a kid.

Twenty-One 03:14
Verse: We use to stay up late and then sleep in, counting down the hours like we’re watching the wind, and we wished that we were older, so we could feel like men. I don’t know where time goes when it changes my skin or my life. Chorus: twenty-one, one more than twenty circles around the sun, and one more day this giant world has spun, and I don’t want to get older. Verse: We use to try and say that we knew it all, exaggerate our climbs and lie about the falls not the way to live at all, but its so good to feel invincible. Time seems so slow when you wish it would go fast, but it never lasts. Chorus: twenty-one, one more than twenty circle around the sun, I swear my spirit it was born to run, and I don’t want to get older. Bridge: Oh what I’d give to be this age and feel this way for life, and not have fears of coming short of promises. The way I feel, I feel so young, my heart is so alive and my youth and health are both of my accomplices. But then again I wish for the mind of a man that's about to die. Chorus: Twenty-One, one more than twenty circles around the sun, I won't stop learning till my days are done, and I don’t want to get older.

about

NOTE ABOUT PRICE: What is this album worth to you? Name your price. I made this available for free because if you're like me or my friends, you are in college and in debt and have no money. Of course, you can help me pay off my debt? But no matter the cost, I just want everyone to get a chance to hear these songs because music is a free-feeling experience.

This album is dedicated to my grandmothers aka my number one fans <3.

This album features all original tracks and was recorded with limited studio time during my senior year of college. It is, in true sense of the word, a 'record' of where I am during this time of my life. I am at a jumping off point, about to graduate college and enter the 'real world'. It is scary, but so exhilarating: much like this first experience of recording an album. Though I wish I could go back and change a few takes, I'm happy with what has been captured here and I hope you share the same joy listening, that I had in making this album.

Peace, Love, & Music :) <3
